The choice of courses, and the
order in which they are taken, is not prescribed, however
participants are advised to plan their program in consultation
with Student Support.
From 2006, new MBT degree participants will be required to
take at least one of two capstone courses: Strategic Management
of Business and Technology, and Management of Innovation and
Technical Change.
From Semester 1 2010 Management of Innovation and Technical
Change (GBAT9104) will be offered in Semester 1 and Strategic
Management of Business and Technology (GBAT9113) will be offered
in Semester 2.
For more detailed information on the capstone courses and
their prerequisits visit the MBT
Structure page.
Our recommendation is that you commence with business or
technology-specific courses, or a selection of each, before
progressing to more integrative courses and then concluding
with at least one of the two capstone courses.
To assist with the selection of courses an online Program
Planner has been developed that enables you to select from
a list of professional competencies and see a list of courses
as a result which have content addressing/covering those competencies
in the course materials.
It is intended to guide you in mapping your individual path
through MBT’s very flexible structure. You can print
or email the plan, and can use the planner at any time during
the learning path as your specific learning needs change.
