  • Blackboard 9 Update Dr Lynn Gribble receives Vice-Chancellor's award for teaching excellence

It is with absolute delight that I inform you about our Dr Lynn Gribble being the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Teaching Excellence – 2011 in the sessional teaching category. The committee making recommendations for the award was highly impressed by the wide range of innovations used by Dr Gribble in teaching (voice active PDFs, in-depth and personalised feedback, video messages, voice active slides etc) across the AGSM MBT Program.

The MBT team is thrilled by this news and really proud and privileged to work with dedicated and passionate teachers such as Lynn.  Lynn's sustained commitment to life-long learning, use of emerging technologies and approaches to inspire and motivate students are exemplary and it is fantastic to see these being recognised by the University. This is also wonderful news for the MBT, AGSM and ASB.

I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating Dr Gribble on receiving this award.

    Best regards,
    Mehreen

Blackboard 9 Update MBT joins the AGSM portfolio

We are pleased to formally announce the move of the MBT Program under the umbrella of the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) joining its suite of courses that specifically cater to executives wishing to gain general management and leadership skills.

The high calibre of teaching staff on the program, the level of experience amongst the students and the success of its alumni fit well with the AGSM mission to be the single destination for experienced executives seeking to gain general management and leadership experience.

Like other AGSM programs including the MBA fulltime, Executive MBA, (also in Hong Kong) the Graduate Certificate in Management and Executive Education Programs, the MBT has high impact on those that undertake the course, and allows them to have influence on the organisations with which they work as well as the broader community.

The AGSM is the premier graduate school of management in Australia and a leader in the region. Hence, the MBT will be moving to a position of greater prominence and visibility, appropriately recognising the high quality of the program.
